Steven P. Levine, is a partner and co-founder of SPL Companies, LLC. He began his career as a CPA in Colorado, running his own successful accounting practice for nearly 20 years. In 1980, Steve got his real estate licence and began a new business adventure founding Tanmarc, a real estate brokerage house in Denver. He has specialized in commercial and residential real estate ever since – almost 40 years.

Steve currently oversees the day-to-day operations for SPL Companies. His primary role with SPL is “the numbers guy.” His financial and CPA background as well as his old school integrity have proven invaluable to SPL Companies. Like his son Marc, he has always been able to find and execute unusual and extremely profitable real estate acquisitions for SPL and their partners. In the beginning of his career with Tanmarc, Steve focused on purchasing and managing mobile home facilities and shopping centers in Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa. Later, his focus shifted to include storage facilities and additional commercial properties throughout the region.

Marc P. Levine is the primary partner at SPL Companies responsible for property management, acquisition and sales, and commercial real estate brokerage – a position he has held for nearly two decades. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in California, he began his career as a loan officer for Security Pacific Bank in California. He then moved back to his home state of Colorado and began a career of remodeling homes for resale and managing rental properties. After getting his Colorado real estate license, he continued to expand his “fix and flip” home business as well as managing various other residential and commercial properties.

In 2002 Marc teamed up with his father, Steven P. Levine and began SPL Companies, LLC., managing commercial and residential real estate in and around Colorado. SPL properties include multiple shopping centers, residential apartments, and self-storage facilities. Since the partnership, Marc and Steve have seen SPL Companies grow dramatically and brought on more properties to rehab and manage. The father-son team works well for the duo. They enjoy spending time together while building their business and breathing new life into old properties.
